The Holidays Are Almost Here!

The holidays are almost here and ‘tis the season for eating and bringing the family together. Thanksgiving in particular is a great time to celebrate America’s melting pot of races, nationalities, cultures and religions. Magazines and blogs are full of recipes for traditional “Turkey Day” favorites, while also including recipes for multi-ethnic favorites like tamale-stuffed turkeys. Whether you’re having pavo (turkey), pollo (chicken), jamón (ham) or any other main dish, Nestlé Kitchens knows no holiday meal would be complete without tasty side dishes.

Share Your Original Side Dish Recipe

Family cooks are invited to enter the “Holiday Side Dish Contest” and share their original, special recipe to celebrate the season. Participants have a chance to win a Grand Prize of $500 and bragging rights to friends and family as a featured recipe in the Nestlé Kitchens blog and Facebook page.

How to Enter

To enter, go to the Nestlé Kitchens blog at http://nestleusa.wordpress.com between 9:00 AM PT on 10/31/11 and 11:59 PM PT 11/18/11 (the “Entry Period”) and follow on-screen instructions to submit original side dish recipe which must include at least one qualifying NESTLÉ® product. Deadline for Submission

Deadline for submission is Friday, November 18, 2011 by 11:59 p.m. PST. One Grand Prize winner will receive a $500 American Express Gift Card, and two runners-up will receive $100 American Express Gift Cards. Winners will be contacted on or before December 6, 2011.
