Real Advice

We'd be happy to give you any additional insight on how to apply. In fact, we'll even show you what we’re looking for, and how to stand out from the competition — because our goal is to make sure you succeed.

There are lots of ways to talk with us and get to know us better. You've already found our website. Become a Fan of our Facebook Page. Follow us on Twitter. See if someone in your personal network is connected to us on LinkedIn. Leverage your campus alumni network.

If we have events at your campus, one of the best ways to differentiate yourself is to meet with us when we visit. It's one way to get to know you better. Plus, we can answer your questions about the programs and explain how relocation works. So make the effort to network and get to know us, too.

Another way is to craft a professional resume and cover letter. This means using active verbs, writing clearly and concisely, and always having someone else proofread your materials before you send them out. It also doesn't hurt to be thoughtful and specific and to try not to submit your resume to the wrong address accidentally.

Next, take on leadership roles in student clubs, athletic programs or volunteer programs. There's no substitute for real, hands-on leadership experience. Tell us what you've learned, how you've grown personally and professionally, and what impact your contribution had on others.

Lastly, try practicing an interview with a friend, family member or mentor. Consider what you're saying, how you're delivering the message, watch your body language, make direct eye contact, practice your handshake and try sitting up straight in your chair. Never keep your hands in your pockets.

If you're an International student, there’s good news for you too. Because Nestlé S.A. is a global company with offices around the world, we offer opportunities within Nestlé in many different countries. Click here to view international opportunities. Nestlé USA does not sponsor work authorization for internship and development programs.

Nestlé is an ‘Equal Opportunity Employer’ and is looking for diversity in candidates for employment.
