For approximately 12 weeks, the operations intern is placed at one of Nestlé's manufacturing plants, distribution centers, or customer service centers across the country. Assigned projects are challenging, address business issues, and provide input or recommendations regarding business decisions. Generally, independent projects are assigned to the intern under the direct supervision of a project manager. Examples of past projects include:

    • Validation of Production Process Controls for Reducing Variations
    • Measure Evaporator Losses & Efficiencies
    • Coffee Line Installation
    • Warehouse Labor Utilization

Continuous, constructive feedback on performance is critical to the success of the intern program. Formal evaluations are conducted at the beginning, mid-point, and end of the internship. Informal, constructive input will be provided frequently from project managers.
