WONK’D OUT Room
To get started, kids log on to WONKA.com. Next, they choose a room style they want to decorate. By entering a code found free online at WONKA.com or on specially marked packages of WONKA® candy such as Laffy Taffy®, SweetTarts® and Nerds®, kids can select virtual furniture to make his or her room the wackiest room ever! Examples of furniture they can choose from include a Runts Gazebo, a Pixy Stix swing set, a Sour-O-Meter, and a stretchy Laffy Taffy puller. In all, there are 50 WONKD’OUT furniture items to choose from!
The Oompa Loompas, who are always looking for an opportunity to add to the fun, have also written and produced music videos that give kids ideas on how to build a WONK’D OUT room. The music videos will play on WONKA.com starting April 1.
WONKD’OUT Furniture Auction
In addition, Willy Wonka will kick-off a WONK’D OUT furniture auction. The wacky items, created by Tony Hawk, Andrew Macdonald, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Christopher Massey, Kyle Massey, Devon Werkheiser, and Rob Pinkston, will be auctioned off for charity on www.ebay.com/wonkafurniture starting April 15. All proceeds will go to the celebrities’ favorite charities including the Tony Hawk Foundation, Bay Area Wilderness Training, Brittiana Henderson Smile for Life, and Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation.
“Fun, dreams and childhood go hand-in-hand. We want to bring a little bit of Willy Wonka’s wackiness into the hearts of children in-need and help fulfill their dreams,” said Patricia Bowles, Manager, Division & Brand Affairs Nestlé Confections & Snacks.
