About Century Villages at Cabrillo, Inc
Century Villages at Cabrillo (CVC) is a residential community established to break the cycle of homelessness. A former 26 acre US Naval housing site, CVC was established in 1997 when the Department of Defense conveyed the land under the McKinney Act for the purpose of providing transitional and permanent housing to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. Since that time, CVC has developed into a unique therapeutic residential community that provides service-enriched housing to more than 1,000 persons and is supported by a collaboration of fourteen non-profit and government agencies. Remarkably, more than 2,000 people benefit each year from the variety of life-enhancing programs and services available at CVC.
