Designed for grades K-3 and divided into three categories: THINK, EAT, and MOVE Healthy, the Healthy Steps for Healthy Lives® instructional activities provide step-by-step directions to carry out these easy-to-use lessons in your classroom.

THINK Healthy Family Connection

Encourages families to discuss what being healthy means to them and includes a family sorting activity.


EAT Healthy Family Connection

Provides families with tools and tips for utilizing guidance provided by the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Includes a family card game, “Play Yummy!”


MOVE Healthy Family Connection

Provides families with information to work toward the daily goal of 60 minutes of physical activity. Includes a family graphing activity.
