Nespresso will launch the first Cuban coffee to be sold in the United States for more than 50 years, when it introduces its new limited edition Grand Cru Cafecito de Cuba this autumn.
Cuba has produced some of the best Arabica coffee in the world. With fertile soil and ideal climatic conditions, the country offers an excellent coffee-growing environment.
Over the long-term, Nespresso and its non-profit development partner Technoserve intend to work with smallholder coffee farmers to support sustainable production and increase production.
