Nestlé USA Initiates Voluntary Recall Of Selected Nestlé® Butterfinger® Peanut Butter Crisp Due to the Potential Presence of Plastic

Nestlé USA, Inc. is initiating a voluntary recall of selected Nestlé Butterfinger Peanut Butter Crisp Share Packs and Snack Tray products due to the potential presence of small pieces of plastic. The affected products were manufactured in Franklin Park, IL and distributed nationally. No other production codes, sizes or varieties of Nestlé Butterfinger Peanut Butter Crisp products are affected by this recall. The specific products are:

• Butterfinger Peanut Butter Crisp Share Pack 3 (18 x 2.01 oz.)
• Butterfinger Peanut Butter Crisp 6 Pack Snack Tray (24 x 4.02 oz.)

We are recalling these products because they may contain small pieces of plastic. Nestlé USA is taking this action out of an abundance of caution after several people reported that they had found small pieces of plastic in some of these products.

The recall is limited to the specific Nestlé Peanut Butter Crisp products made at the company’s Franklin Park, IL facility. The product identification codes can be found on the top panel of the product.
