Reducing Sodium in our Prepared Foods
Nestlé USA has been steadily reducing sodium levels across brands, while simultaneously improving the nutritional and taste profiles of our products. Recently, we announced a commitment to decrease the sodium content in our products by another 10% by the year 2015. This initiative includes our STOUFFER’S®, LEAN CUISINE®, BUITONI®, HOT POCKETS® and LEAN POCKETS® brands, which will undergo gradual but steady recipe changes in order to bring down sodium levels without impacting taste.
