Today NESTLÉ NESQUIK is introducing Protein Plus, a new product line for adults young at heart who love the taste of chocolate milk, but want more protein in their daily diets. To celebrate the new product, NESQUIK is introducing “Fueling the Everyday MVP” – a tongue-in-cheek campaign that puts a spin on the epic and typically serious tone of sports advertising. The campaign kicks-off with a video entitled “Anthem” created by digital creative agency Deep Focus. Designed to carve out a completely new space for protein drinks, the video takes on dramatic sports commercials in a witty and relatable way for the athlete in all of us. Available in two delicious flavors – chocolate and vanilla – Protein Plus contains 23g of protein in each 14 oz. bottle. It is made with real milk from cows not treated with the added growth hormone rBST (although no significant difference has been shown between milk from rBST treated and non-rBST treated cows) and contains 28 percent less sugar than the leading protein-enhanced flavored milk.
Protein Plus is available on store shelves nationwide at local convenience and select grocery stores in 14 oz. pre-mixed, ready-to-drink bottles.
