Nestlé USA Announces Recall of Limited Quantity of Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken Meals Due to Potential Presence of Foreign Material

Nestlé USA is initiating a recall of a limited number of Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken frozen meals due to the potential presence of plastic pieces. This recall only covers a specific batch code of Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken meals, which were shipped to retailers and distributors nationwide.

The product should be not be consumed because the plastic pieces could pose a choking or laceration risk.

The recall is limited to the following product, with batch code 0246595911 and best before date of October 2021.

The product being recalled was produced on September 2, 2020. No other production dates or batch codes of Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken and no other Lean Cuisine products are impacted by this recall.

We identified the source of plastic in the factory and have fixed the issue. We are working closely with USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) on this recall.
